Life on Earth - 40th Anniversary Edition from NaturePL
Next month sees the publication by William Collins of a new, beautifully illustrated edition of David Attenborough’s groundbreaking Life on Earth. NaturePL supplied many of the images for the updated book.
The original book and television series helped change the way in which we see and respond to the natural world and have had a powerful and lasting influence. The 40th Anniversary Edition of Life on Earth uses new photography to accompany David Attenborough’s updated text. Nature Picture Library has supplied more than 100 images for the book and they have created a gallery of the bookplate images.
If you would like to enter our competition to win a copy of the book, please email NaturePL by September 27th to tell them which of the bookplate images in their gallery speaks to you most clearly about the story of life on earth, and why.
You can also buy a print of many of the bookplate images from the dedicated Life on Earth gallery on NaturePL’s new print site.
