Chatsworth Photo Library is an outstanding archive representing the rich diversity of the famous Devonshire Collection. Renowned for its collection of paintings, silver, furniture and illustrated books, together with famous old master and Inigo Jones drawings plus modern works including Lucian Freud.
The Library also covers many facets of the history of Chatsworth house, garden and park, the Cavendish and Mitford families and Joseph Paxton. We are proud to hold the Jorge Lewinski archive of photographs of artists in Britain, 1962 - 1995.
