Profile
The Arctic and Antarctic specialist stock picture library. Run by Bryan and Cherry Alexander, and based in the UK, this collection has been documenting the lives of the native peoples of the Arctic since 1971. Along the way they have also photographed wildlife, landscape, tourism, industry, oil and gas, pollution, climate change and lots of ice. Now they have added the work of other photographers who also get to some very inaccessible places. Every year we find surprising gems in the Arctic and Antarctica.

Specialities The pictures have been captioned and keyworded with knowledge and attention to detail, it won’t just be ice, it will be nilas ice or frost flowers and if there isn’t all you need to know in the caption, just email, and ask about the details. The areas covered span, Alaska, Arctic and subarctic Canada, Greenland, The Scandinavian Arctic, northern Siberia from the Kola Peninsula to Chukotka, the North and South Poles.
